I really like the idea of a nice bookmark, but I don’t often use them. Any sort of dangly ribbon or tassel is impossible, as The Cat will destroy those if she happens to find one peeking out of a book. For that same reason, books that come with their own ribbon sewn right into the spine cannot be read peacefully while lying in bed. (via)
