ABC News: The Child Stars of TGIF
IT’S THE CODE-MIESTER!!!!

This brings back memories. I was in the Bickley/Warren Miller/Boyett “family” for a few years during the 90s. I spent most of my time on Family Matters (Urkel used to call me ‘Lucy’ because I had red hair & wore dresses from the 40s & 50s & I used to call him ‘richer than the Saudi royal family’ because he was) but the production offices for Step By Step & Full House were just around the corner & down the stairs. Suzanne Somers’ Christmas gift to her crew one year was a framed picture of herself & a special performance of her night club act, just for them. (They were thrilled, as you might imagine.) Our neighboring soundstages — behind & to the left — housed the Friends & ER sets respectively & George Clooney used to play basketball outside my office window. I walked within three feet of Warren Beatty & Pierce Brosnan one morning & nearly passed out from their combined beauty (they were shooting Beatty’s remake of Love Affair). If there wasn’t a lot going on in the offices, I was all “have golf cart, will travel” & I used to roam the backlot, going  pretty much anywhere I liked. Oh, how I wish I had a digital camera back then.
Also — pretty good trivia question, if you’re into that sort of thing:
What show did Family Matters spin off of?
Did you guess Perfect Strangers? The mom on Family Matters was the elevator operator in the building that Larry & Balki worked in.
